The Western Bay of Plenty Health Foundation is a registered charitable trust that exists to provide the opportunity for people from all walks of life to gift funds to support better health outcomes for our community.  While health is largely seen as a central government responsibility, there are always needs that are not fully funded or highest priority, and so the Foundation provides a way for local people and organisations to support extra services, amenities, research and training facilities for our community's needs. 

 As a Foundation, we support both endowment and pass through giving with donors able to tag funds for nominated outcomes or leave their contribution untagged for the Foundation to determine the best use, and greatest need.
